Static-X guitarist Tripp Eisen is being held in police custody having been arrested for two seperate sexual assualts.

Without going into the sordid details, Eisen (real name Tod Rex Salvador) has been charged with aggravated sexual assault, kidnapping, luring to entice a minor through the Internet and endangering the welfare of a child. The kidnapping charge alone could mean 30 years in prison.

Needless to say, his fellow bandmates aren't very impressed by these antics and have booted him out of the band, issuing the following statement:

"Static-X has parted ways with guitarist Tripp Eisen, effective immediately. Tripp is currently dealing with personal issues that prohibit him from being able to fulfill his commitment to the band. No replacement has yet been chosen".

Eugh.
