Those big-riffin' guitar manglers Muse have been paid tribute to by a bunch of cello-wielding classical types. Really.
The String Quartet Tribute To Muse is available in the States, like, now. It includes Radio 3-friendly takes on 'Muscle Museum', 'Stockholm Syndrome' and 'Sunburn'. And some more. Check it out here.
