They're called DOVES. not THE DOVES, just DOVES.
Anyway, HAL are quite good live, in a kind of if-the-thrills-were-good kind of way. they were playing a bill with the magic numbers, however, who are rather shite pub rock bollocks played by fat aging hippies. but HAL are good.

Re: See HAL. See HAL run. See HAL go on tour forever....

i'd have to agree with that. saw hal & the magic no.s last week and whilst the magic no.s were OK, i thought Hal were superb. their harmonies are top notch.

See HAL. See HAL run. See HAL go on tour forever..

i also saw hal with the magic numbers. i thought HAL were an appalling thrills cover band. The magic numbers on the other hand had some amazing songs and they are a band i will definently have to see again. Absolutely superb

Re: See HAL. See HAL run. See HAL go on tour forev

I'd like to see Hal.

Get run down by a squad of psycho killer Hell's Angels, like that bit in Mad Max where they kill his family.

Re: See HAL. See HAL run. See HAL go on tour forever....

what are you talking about? i saw them both in glasgow and while the magic numbers were one of the best live bands ive ever seen hal were shyte.

i cant believe these chancers are getting so much coverage.

Re: See HAL. See HAL run. See HAL go on tour forever....

magic numbers? dude, you need to go to see more bands doing shite generic rock in pubs in more places. then you'll realise that the magic numbers are even worse then.

and if the magic numbers are one of the best live bands you've ever seen...than fair enough personal taste, everyone's entitled to their own, but in my opinion, you're talking weird

Re: See HAL. See HAL run. See HAL go on tour forever..

why do so many people like the magic numbers? i don't get it! you possibly don't get out enough. they are pub rock bollocks, songs so simple and boring and dull and bland...they're just, aaaagh, forget it. go enjoy em if you must.
