The three recently-estranged members of Bis have bowed to the inevitable and are back together in the form of a new band, Data Panik.
Described by Ms Rin as “a harder, stronger Bis with a drummer”, the band’s first release will be a 7” self-pressed single, which will hopefully be out around the end of March and which will feature two songs: 'Cubis(I Love You)' and 'Sense Not Sense'. They aim to be playing live in a couple of months time, and are currently seeking a label interested in putting out their debut album.

I used to utterly despise them and one of the funniest things I ever saw was them supporting the Foo Fighters (that's the FOO FIGHTERS) in Newport. It would be fair to say that the likes of 'Kandi Pop' didn't go down very well with the audience. But they really toughed it out (apart from one of them smashing his guitar and then saying 'Happy now?') and I warmed to them as people. Then they released 'Eurodisco' and I warmed to them as a band as well.

I think the track is The End Starts Today perhaps...good song. I don't think it actually says Tell Me Why but it does sound like it (or at least that's what i always sing when i'm singing along to it).

I loved The Secret Vampire Soundtrack when it came out, got the first 3 singles/EPs and they began to grate with me and gave up on them then.
