Forgive us this one last giggle before home time...
Emma Bunton's efforts to crack the US market (remember, The Spice Girls were a big success there) appear to have been in vain, as her album Free Me has failed to breach even the bottom-most depths of the Billboard Top 200.
Bunton managed to shift a fantastically poor 5,380 copies of the album across the whole of America.
Sources, quoted in UK red tops, have suggested that she'll struggle on: "It often takes a long time to gain recognition in the States and Emma's determined to see it through. But there's no denying she faces an uphill battle."
Ah, what the heck: good luck, Bunton.

It was optimistic of them to think she'd do anything in America. I wouldn't even call what she does background music. She isn't even under the radar in this country or did that slip their minds.
