...And You Will Know Us By The Trail of Dead! - new LP playback
Although DiS doesn't encourage opening your Xmas pressies early, we've managed to get one for you extra early. We're very proud to present the first public airing of the new ...Trail of Dead album 'Worlds Apart' (Released January 24th), which quite frankly is the most exciting record to have dropped through our postbox all year. It is those rantsome Texans fulfilling every promise, with than album that could well redefine punk in the noughties. Big strings, big rants.
The playback takes place from 7:30pm tomorrow at the Marquee as the opening 45mins of our xmas party. So arrive early. Entry is totally free. For more details about our Xmas party Click here. Details of our headliner are coming tomorrow. Hopefully.
You can also hear some of the record online here.

I haven't heard any of the album, I'm not quite sad enough to download a leaked version. I open my presents on christmas day, if you get me!?
I like the excitement of waiting for release day, going to the shop, taking it off the shelf, paying for it, going home, and then listening to it whilst looking through the artwork!
but that's just me.

I've not heard such a woeful, disappointing record all year. Not even the second Streets one. I still can't bring myself to believe it's by the same band, someone wrote their name on a blank cd for us as a cruel cruel joke. It starts off alright, but....just utter disbelief the further you get in to it, sounds like some wimpy middling at rock bunch not TRAIL OF FUCKING DEAD! *hangs head*. Thank god they roared out the classics for the ATP set instead of much of that desperately weak record. Oh jesus guys what happened.....
