The Prince's Trust Urban Music Festival will return for a second outing next year on 16 and 17 April.
The inaugural event last May featured the likes of Jay-Z, Jamelia, Dizzee Rascal, The Streets and Beyonce, giving unsigned acts the chance of a showcase alongside them, with a series of workshops in which established artists gave practical advice to young people. It was the biggest urban event of 2004.
The next one looks even bigger, taking place at Earls Court. Festival director Ellie Gray promised next year's event would have a line-up "as exciting as last year's". More info on the unsigned competition is on their official site.

I'm sure most of Watford's whiteboy gangsta population will love this.
