As if touring with The Cure, headlining Glasto and V and selling out Earls Court weren't enough, Muse are satiating demand with yet another date.

The apocalyptic rockers will play the historic venue on Sunday 19 and Monday 20 December. Support, rather oddly, comes from The Zutons.

It marks the end of a massive year for the band who've been on the road promoting their first major label LP, Absolution for the last eighteen months. Their headline performance at this year's Glastonbury Festival was marred by the tragic death of drummer, Dom Howard's father, shortly after their performance.

A new Muse record is expected next year.

The Zutons have improved massively as a live band and should go down really well.

From reading the Muse message board, I believe that the best way to upset a Muse fan is for me to say the following: I managed to get standing tickets!

I managed to get standing tickets too! Tho I dunno how cos they said the presale tix for the first gig sold out quick and I got 3 standing at 1pm when they'd gone onsale at 9am! :S

My friend only got seated tickets and he went on at 9 weirdly enough. Oh well, i'll still enjoy the show. I fucking hate The Zutons but maybe they'll suprise me live. I wonder what other band will be supporting as it says + Special Guests?

But did he try and get the mailing list pre sale tix or on the day they were released to the public? I'm getting worried now! I have got my confirmation email and my cards been charged, maybe I was just flukey! :D

Same here, i was on at 9! i only managed to get seated aswell. Atleast we havent got to stand and watch The Zutons.

Muse sound quality.. not so good

After waiting 5 years to finally be able to see Muse, I was really rather dissapointed.. I'm not sure whether its was more due to lack of volume, due to me being in the second half of the arena.. or whether it was because I was seated and wasnt around people who really knew how to express their enjoyment.
I felt a bit like a Muse fan amongst a load of Westlife fans!
The visual show was excellent though and there was a really nice selection of tunes from Muse, I don't really know what happened.
The Zutons were great, the Saxophone sounded really good. The Secret Machines were terrible, there was hardly anyone present when they played. The mexican waves through the arena were fun though :]
