Equally rocking bands that are playing, however, are: Karn8 (female fronted goth metal),
Without Grace (anthemic stadium rock),
Audax (funky metal, think Lost Prophets and Incubus) Opus (instrumental riffage and noise - Mogwai meets Tool).
And if you're really going to be pedantic, "Signal to Noise" is an ages old song by Peter Gabriel, not just an album by The Rise. And even then, its a standard recording term. So therefore, "originality is a myth". :-)
