In Photos: Preparations for the first ever Nova Festival @ Bignor park, West Sussex

With this year's festival season being blighted by cancellations due to bad weather, poor tickets sales and general bad luck, it's nice to see another new festival taking shape for the first time.

Nova Festival of Arts and music, to be held at Bignor Park in West Sussex is the brainchild of two of The Big Chill's founders.

In their own words, Nova Festival describe the event as:

"...a unique music, arts, theatrical and food newcomer to the UK festival circuit. Throwing its entertainment net way beyond staged performances, Nova has suprises waiting around every corner. Racey acting, art displays, hot tubs and nighttime camp fires, hot showers, famous artists, a British pub and seriously good local food and drink..."
