Fleet Foxes, then: pretty damn popular thanks to all that broadsheet loving. Their Sheffield date last night was certainly a hot ticket, even if the majority of the crowd seemed more interested in chatting amongst themselves than actually, like, listening to the tunes. But they weren't the only ones. Did you know FF singer Robin Pecknold moonlights as a stand-up comedian? Us neither. Still, with only an album and an EP to their name, an hour-and-a-half set was always going to be tough to fill. At least they played 'Mykonos', and it was as amazing live as on record...

The best bit
was the little bit in the middle where he did solo and did Oliver James and the other one that I have forgotten the name of.
:-(
I had tickets for this but did not make it.
Robin looks a lot liek Simon Neil ^ there.
i want to see them a lot.
please
despite this zine being all so dam cynical and obvious..
this show was, like the other 3 i have seen, magnificent.
and just for the record, robin was hilarious at shepherds bush empire-he and drummer j tillman trading punches about the advocacy about buying a small country....
