A double dose of most-excellent live action, captured rather wonderfully by DiS photographers Toby Price and Lucy Johnston.

Toby's shots
put mine to SHAME!!
But Mike's right: you should all come on Sunday, ALL OF YOU.
i didnt
realise you were at the nottingham gig toby.
how'd you find monotonix? had to leave before they started, but lords were immense.
who the hell is
Monotonix?
they look fucking awesome
They're an israeli band- a bit stoogesy, but with one guitar, drums and vox.
I was next to the photographer at that gig, it was pretty nuts! I feel sorry for whoever had to tidy up after that gig though.
They're an experience!
Make LSF look like pansies...
i really want to see them
my friend came back from sxsw raving about them and managed to get them for a show, i couldn't their london date(s) :(
It was me
Tidying wasn't so bad...
Monotonix
are pretty much the best live band I've ever seen ever. In fact, I can't believe they do that every night. I don't feel sorry for the person who tidies up, I feel sorry for the drummer who seems to get twatted with a bin at every gig they play. They're all going to hurt themselves at some point, especially the singer who I thought was going to jump off the ULU balcony. Looks like they're not playing the UK again for ages - this is a bad thing.
oh yeah
and they make Tim Harrington's antics look really lame.
I see no photos
of JoFo signing my much-anticipated CD and popping it in the post. ;)
not true!!!!!!!
singer said they're back to UK in November
FUCK!!!
I can't believe how good Dananananaykroyd and Johnny Foreigner were last night. I've seen Jofo loads of times and they keep getting better. But last night, I think having Danana on before them made them up their game significantly.
And Danana, SO much fun. I was laughing and signing along from start to finish.
Great show!!
Really hate proud gallery though. Shit venue. Crap sound. No vibe.
thats ages away
:'(
monotonix
