BANDS! They start about 9ish, sometimes.
THESE HANDS
Noisestar says: One of the best rock and roll bands we've had the pleasure of meeting over the last couple of years. These boys play Discord hardcore with a slice of humble humour and intelligent wit. This is apperantly their final show which is a real shame as they have been flying the DIY flag high and they will be sorely missed... see their website.
KYOTE
Noisestar says: ...joyous revival of what I like to call post modernism hardcore. This is hard-driven guitar bass and drums under a wash of reflective spoken word vocals. One of the most original live bands we've stumbled upon in a long time. Fans of the Fall, Joeyfat, Slint and anything good will not be disappointed. Website.
PLUS! DJs from Noisestar, the ever wonderful Silver Rocket and DiS's own me. Nice work if you can get it. Expect to hear stuff like:
The Chalets, Hot Snakes, The Breeders, Le Tigre, Sleater-Kinney, Les Savy Fav, Bloc Party, Mudhoney, Nirvana, The Cure, Blondie, Destiny's Child, Guns N Roses, AC/DC, Madonna, Trail Of Dead, DFA1979... whatever we like and whatever we reckon's good to dance to, basically.
