Fantastic article. I saw them at Leeds Varieties, an old music hall, similar set-up by the sounds of it; comfortable seats, a sweet shop, pre-ordered drinks, audience participation etc. Hugely entertaining; only a cold-hearted cynic could fail to enjoy such a gig.

I only once went to a gig with pre-ordered drinks. It was Derren Brown (the mind-manipulating bloke). After we drank said drinks, we went back for the second half, whereupon he played with a Ouija board. Slightly different vibe to Chas 'n' Dave but there you go.
