My God his hair is long! Can it really all be his? He could sell it for a fortune, to wig makers and rope sellers and the like. Wow! Now he’s swinging it about! EVERYWHERE! Check it out! Is this guy Medusa? He’s about 6ft 3, so they must be… 6ft ginger dreadlocks!
Shadows Fall have all the aggression, expression and brutality you’d expect from a progressive hardcore band with none of the usually unavoidable American sensationalism. Stampeding through their set SF wrap up every song with threatening dynamism and intelligence.
There is a sense of pure love for music here, no huge budgets or famous names in the production, and their touring schedule speaks for itself; the current world tour lasts January ‘til September (and that’s just the provisional end by the way) with only about 9 days rest along the way!
Set to play the Download Festival at Donington and rumoured for Ozzfest I'd recommend you go see Shadows Fall before it's time to go off to Greece or somewhere equally exciting for your summer holidays.
