DiScover Club @ RoTa
Munch Munch, One More Grain, and Elle S'appelle
About the venue
Notting Hill Arts Club
Train: Westbourne Park (18 mins)
Paddington (18 mins)
Tube: Notting Hill Gate (4 mins)
Directions: take the tube to Notting Hill Gate, then take the LEFT exit. That's left, the left again. Walk down the road for a few minutes but the place is difficult to find as it's not marked outside... It's next to a hairdresser's and opposite a kebab shop. You will notice it by the big wooden doors and velvet rope outside and probably a bouncer too...
THIS is your MySpace link for information on all upcoming RoTa shows. RoTa is held every Saturday at the Arts Club, from 4 til 8, and is free entry. DiS runs its monthly DiScover Club shows there - check the site regularly for details of upcoming DiScover Club shows.
»About the artists
Munch Munch
Munch Munch is mainly Richard and Thomas - their eyes met across a crowded room, it was love at first sight. Thomas is also in a freakoid shit-polka collective called Adelina Poerio. Richard is also in a pseudo copy-cat hair metal outfit called Go! Team! Go!.
Munch Munch make bedroom recordings using a laptop and whatever instruments they find lying around. Live, Munch Munch are a larger collective of friends, all playing real instruments, in the form of two drummers and a mixture of ukulele, keyboards, shakers and other bits and bobs.

One More Grain
D P Quinn - drones & rants
Merek Cooper - bass
Andrew Blick - trumpet
Laurie Waller - drums
Dudu - bass - left 2007
Gal Moore - drums - left 2007
London quartet fronted by Mr Quinn, who's a little bit like Aidan Moffatt if he calmed down and hung around in lounge bars.

Elle S'appelle
Elle S'appelle are:
Andy: bass
Lucy: keys, vocals
Owen: drums
Style-wise, think Mates Of State, albeit rather fuzzier. There is a bass at work, after all.
Watch 'Little Flame' here...
