About the artists
Le Tetsuo
- Jack - vocals, guitar
- Charly - vocals, bass
- Sam - drums
Predictably, Le Tetsuo met at art school in autumn 2002, and began having sweaty, drunken rehearsals. Their most noteworthy gigs have occured in the front rooms of house parties, where they play too loudly through small, broken amplifiers and fall over a lot.
Charly Morris and Jack (aka T-Bone) have careers as near-legendary solo artists in their own right; additionally, Jack and Sam comprise approximately one third of lo-fi collective The Bells, The Bells! You can buy Le Tetsuo's debut EP I Understand If You Speak Slowly now at www.howlbackhum.co.uk. It includes their song 'Nickers' which has enjoyed airplay on Radio One and XFM no less... There's also a new, self-produced four track CD available. It was recorded in a barn in Swainesthorpe, and has some attractive origami dogs on the cover... and they're doing it all for you, you lucky people!
