Charlottefield

Adam Hansford: guitar
Ashley Marlowe: drum kit

A fantastic live act, Charlottefield are informed by the work of the Fall and DC hardcore, but have a sound all of their own.

They have released 7"s on several labels, including Fat Cat, and a mini-album, through Jonson Family Records, is available now (review below - click link).

Manatees

Manatees are Greg Wynne, Alex Macarte and Paul Heron.

The band's sound is one indebted to drone forefathers such as Swans and Boris, and also draws influences from Pink Floyd and Old Man Gloom.

MySpace

"Manatees are the first UK act to mix black-hearted doom metal with the technical complexity of Red-era King Crimson."
UNCUT

“One of the most ambitious albums of 2006.”

Down I Go

Down I Go, they sound like...

Earthquakes, tidal waves, swarms of disease carrying mosquitoes, burning houses, sinking ships, exploding reactors, starving dinosaurs, Bostonites drowning in treacle, fatal coughing fits, burning hair, stock market crash, planes falling from the sky...

Zettasaur

Zettasaur formed in Pembrokeshire, Wales in September of 2005. The band started playing together when they rented a condemed property that was big enough to accomodate a practice space. The house was knocked down around them and the band was forced to move on.

Zettasaur moved to Brighton in early 2006. They might be quoted as describing their music as "um... loud, riffy and fast, I think". Relevant reference points would include 90 Day Men, Fugazi, Shellac etc. The main musical aim is to use momentum, volume and abnormal structure to create something which is (hopefully) suprising and therefore invigorating.

The band has recorded with Steve Ansell (Blood Red Shoes) and are keen to play when ever and where ever possible.

Zettasaur are: Matthew Davies, Edward Hamilton, James Hamilton, Thomas Lavis.
