Hundred Handed

Hundred Handed are a London-based band whose five members hail from the four corners of England. Their music is a distinctive brand of angular riffs, scuttling rhythms and crooned vocals. The band claim their influences as David Bowie, Roxy Music, Led Zeppelin, Television, James “Iggy Pop” Osterberg, the Associates and Fugazi, and more.

Their recordings to date have featured on Smalltown America’s Public Service Broadcast Numbers Two and Seven and Velocity Recordings’ Abuse Your Friends Voume Four. Additionally - and in follow up to their March 2004 EP ‘on parade’ - they released an album entitled ‘Our Dead Language’ in October of 2005 (recorded in a church in Cornwall). Copies of said album are available for purchase via the website and also from Pure Groove Records which is situated in Archway, London.

Sadly for all concerned, the singer & driving force announced that he was leaving (amicably) the Hundred Handed in late-2006, which led to the creation of Tessellators after Dan, Beare, Alex & Moh resolved to start a new venture together.
