What’s the best thing about so-called Art Rock? It’s noisy. And the worst thing? Well, it’s often little else; a plodding, opaque racket, sacrificing rhythm and melody for sheer density of sound. And it’s White – an unfunky, machine-like grind, made strictly not for dancing to, separating itself from it’s cockier cousin by eschewing its blues roots. Tiger Force consists of Helen, Andy and a lot of things which make loud noises. Deliberately steering clear of anything that might resemble a recognisable genre, they can best be described as sample-loving hip-hop-inspired punk-ethos sing-along handclapping demented scuzz-pop. And then some.»

Brilliant, raw yet innovative blues-punk trio, formed 2005, who merge mutant funk slide-riffs with clattering assymetrical madness and screaming Riot Grrrl punk. Think Nic Endo fronting the Jon Spencer Blues Explosion.»
