Oh the sweetness of forbidden fruit - the ambrosial delight of the things we shouldn't enjoy. And so it is with the tight treacle textures of Kubb. They charm the taste buds, but we know they could spell ruin for our credibility waistlines.
They can be nice boys playing Hard-Fi on 'Wicked Soul', or just nice boys playing nice songs (for the purposes of this article a "nice" song is mid-tempo, has rolling piano in it, some Jeff Buckley type falsetto singing bits and a pervasive air of wistfulness) like 'Alcatraz' which, daft title aside, is pretty much impossible to resist.
Mainly though, they are Athlete without the annoying bits, pouring us out a handful of neat and tidy, hook-stuffed three minute treats.
Just don't tell anyone cooler than you that you like them.

From the look of the website / biog etc, they're corporately formed which removes a certain degree of credibility in my opinion.
