Nearest tube: Oxford Circus

Not strictly a venue in itself but it's held enough decent free gigs to count as a venue in my opinion. Gigs happen on the 2nd floor with the stage area being assembled next to the elevator. This provides maximum comedy value whenever a confused customer finds himself arriving next to a stack of amps. Nice atmosphere, but it's extremely hot in there, they don't seem to recognise the wonders of air-con. But it's free. What more could you ask?
