Recent host to The Green Man Festival 2004 and former Big Chill venue, Baskerville Hall is a hotel set in the sumptious hillsides around Hay-on-Wye. It is Conan-Doyle's true inspiration for his famous dog book, having been a regular guest here during his lifetime. Fears for the resident's privacy lead the author to relocate the action to the West Country.
