We're going to keep banging on about Villagers, at least for a little while the debut album Becoming A Jackal is a mightily strong record, debut or otherwise. Demonstrated so well in the opening and title track, 'Becoming A Jackal'. We (well, Sean) stumbled across a live and acoustic version of this track on the world wide internet.»

Villagers are the doing of Dublin's Conor J. O'Brien, accompanied by a band of merry men. They release their debut single, 'Becoming A Jackal' on April 26, which is a wee while away yet. That hasn't stopped them, however, from making a very fine video for it some months in advance. There's also an LP on the way, so stay tuned and that.»
