The Swear

The Swear are a female fronted four-piece from New Cross, London, featuring:
Tycie - guitar/vocals
Andrew - guitar
Craig - bass
Tim - drums

They first crossed paths at a South London Art college in 2001. The Swear mesh riot grrrl with Dischord punk boy to create an edgy art punk explosion. Their scratchy and catchy new wave track 'High Rise' appears on the chic South London album sampler 'The New Cross' by Angular Records. This compilation of electro beats, 80's retro and art school rock was applauded by the NME and has already made hot property of Bloc Party and Art Brut.
