Bio
[Edit this profile]The band, four young chaps from Sunderland in North East England, began life in Barry's freezing garage in November 2000. The name of the band was "more or less" nicked from The Flaming Lips.
In July 2002, they went off on tour round Europe with Milky Wimpshake. Their first release was the 'Nul Book Standard' on Project Cosmonaut Records, released on 7" only.
Later followed a session for Xfm's John Kennedy, who is most certainly one of their biggest fans. In early 2003, they released '1-2-3-Nul!' EP on Fantastic Plastic, following it with 'First Day' (charting at No. 1 in the indie chart), and festival appearences at Glastonbury, T in the Park, Truck, V2003 and Reading/Leeds.
