Biography

Introduction

Rhianna Hannah Louise Kenny (born 7 January 1983, Leeds, Yorkshire, England) professionally known as Rhianna, is an English R&B singer.

Born to David and Linda Kenny, Rhianna started her career as a backing vocalist for her brother's band, LSK, but she later dropped out and went solo in her twenties. She signed a recording contract with Sony Music to record her debut album, Get On. Rhianna was fairly popular in the UK and Ireland with her first single, "Oh Baby", but ended her solo career, when her second single charted low in the UK Singles Chart.

Rhianna supported Beverley Knight on her 2003 UK tour, and is currently part of a band called Fleurona.
