[pockets] describe their sound as like “a match being lit”. The band is brothers Andrew and Raul, formerly of ‘These Hands’, now playing in ‘S. Rock Levinson’ and ‘Slowgun’ respectively. Other people have likened them to the White Stripes. This would be accurate if Meg White could play drums…and looked like the bastard son of Prince and David Blaine…and if Jack White sounded more like a squawking chicken than a wailing cat…and wrote songs about really weird and interesting stuff.
