No Age to play two London shows, European tour

News by Luke Slater

LA's power duo No Age have confirmed that they'll play two very special London headline shows later this year, in April to be precise. Super stuff from one of our favourite acts. The first show will be at the Bussey Building on April 2 and the next night they'll play The Bear) by Jean-Jacques Annaud at the ICA. They've also just announced a full-on European tour, which includes shows in Bulgaria, Romania and Macedonia.»

Listen: New No Age album Everything In Between

News by Luke Slater

Los Angeles noisy-duo No Age release their new LP very soon indeed. It's called Everything In Between and comes out through that indie label of much repute, Sub Pop. You can also now stream it over at The Guardian. We did toy with stealing the code and posting it ourselves but that would have been against the spirit of internet exclusives, wouldn't it?»

DiS is 10: No Age, Blood Red Shoes + more to help DiS celebrate in London, Manchester and Sheffield

News by Sean Adams

How on earth do or should we 'celebrate' reaching a 10 year landmark? We considered some real-world trolling with biiiig events but it felt more like trying to impress a few media oiks, from London, rather than doing something defiantly DiS. What we have put together, is a series of events in the UK, in October, with bands we like. These will take place in warehouses, on roller-skate rinks and in traditional venues. We're trying to cover the whole country but for now we can announce events in London, Sheffield and Manchester. »

No Age announce new record for September

News by Luke Slater

When we got the news about LA duo No Age's new record, we really hoped it would continue the theme of 'great records being released on September 13 in the UK'. Alas, it was not to be, and it looks like we're just going to have to settle for it being a great record which isn't released on September 13. »
