Bio
[Edit this profile]Band members names - roles in band:
Jonni (Vocals, Guitars, Computing Programming, Posing)
and Candii (Posing).
Brief band history:
Mogul are a girl-boy duo from West Bromwich. Lo-Fi techno bubblegum with insolent punk attitude.
Casios, Speak 'n' Spells, spot on street suss, a devotion to the more synthetic early 80's, especially Sigue Sigue Sputnik, it's all there!
Their first single was a cheeky cover of Oasis 'Roll With It', their second the lets-go-shoplifting anthem 'I Was Starving Hungry (In Tescos)', while their third the Brumtastic 'Rotunda', featured the ultimate electro-punk b-side ever, 'Spit On You'.
Jonni 'n' Candii spotted each other across a crowded Birmingham dance-floor to the sound of 'Teenage Kicks'. Mogul was formed spontaneously there and then by the union of the two beautiful deviants.
Jonni is a cross between Bob from the film 'Rita & Sue & Bob Too', Del Boy, and Jonny Rotton. Candii is an evil selfish little bitch. Both complete with black country accents.
Mogul like fluffy clothes and neon-lit cities. They think that beards and pop don't mix, and they drink tea then they can't afford blue WKD alcopop. Mogul are 100% plastic, yet completely real. They're doing for Casios what Stereolab did for Moogs.
