Apparently. Maths are a hardcore punk/screamo band formed in late 2006 in Norfolk. They played their first show in their bassist's living room to 100-plus in January 2007. Their first 'legal' gig was supporting Black My Heart at the Lowestoft Seabreeze.

Maths have a defined sound, one that has been missing from the UK for quite some time, with main influences being stated as: Orchid, Ampere, Circle Takes the Square, Modern Life is War, Poison the Well and Funeral Diner. Their first recording took place over the weekend on the 24th of February 2007
