Masami Akita (aka Merzbow) and Russell Haswell are two of the world's most extreme recording artists, who have individually been pushing the barriers of noise and music for several years.

Perhaps it was inevitable they would combine forces eventually, as they did on 2002 album 'Satanstornade'.
