It's been said before and it'll be said many times again. Cardiff's Islet are a mysterious bunch. There's no MySpace etc. etc. etc. But are beginning to know a little bit more about them, as they released their debut mini-album (also known as an EP). I saw Islet live a few weeks back at Brighton's Great Escape. It was an odd but rewarding experience indeed. The more traditional barriers between crowd and band were fluid, and the frequency at which they swapped instruments was hard to keep up with. They played with gusto. They've also recently tour with Los Campesinos! amongst others. »
DiS done got our own little festival! Yes sir, between Friday 4th June and Sunday 6th we'll be taking over our favourite Sheffield establishment The Harley for an entire weekend of live music - curated in partnership with the venue - and we're absolutely delighted to announce who and what we've got in store for you.»
