Hatesphere

Danish death metal, anyone? The following people would say "yes please!" to that question, as they are all members of Hatesphere. Then they would hurt you:

Peter Lyse Hansen - guitar
Henrik Jacobsen - guitar
Anders Gyldenøhr - drums
Mikael Ehlert - bass guitar

After releasing their self-titled debut in 2001, the hard-working, even-harder-touring quintet knocked out their second album Bloodred Hatred a year later and Ballet of the Brute in 2004, as well as mini-album Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed and Something Black and the The Killing EP along the way. By the time their fourth and latest album The Sickness Within was released in 2005, Hatesphere had signed to german majors SPV/Steamhammer, enabling them to reach a wider metal audience with their over-the-top thrash sound.

That's not to say they've never had recognition, winning regularly at the Danish Metal Awards (Best Album in 2002 and 2005, Best Live Band in 2003) and touring with the likes of Exodus, Mastodon and Chimaira to name but three.
