Two brothers, Jad and David Fair, who, despite not actually being able to play their instruments, have been making music forever. Almost.

They blend the lo-fi and experimental with lyrics ranging from having crushes on girls to monsters and the supernatural. How can that not be amazing? I mean, lo-fi and monsters!

They have amassed nearly three dozen releases and are still going; Jad Fair for instance has issued a number of solo releases as well as collaborations with bands such as Teenage Fanclub and Yo La Tengo.
