Great Lake Swimmers

Based in Toronto, the band self-ttiled debut was recorded in a silo in Ontario and released in 2003 in Canada by Weewerk Records then in 2005 in the States by Misra Records. After a second album ‘Bodies and minds in 2005, then band will released ‘Ongiara' in 2007 on Nettwerk.

Great Lake Swimmers's music has been compared to Red House Painters, Nick Drake, Will Oldham, Gram Parsons, Iron&Wine and Neil Young.
