Grant Hart

The Drummer, singer and songwriter with seminal and massively influential US punk band Husker Du, Grant Hart has not been to the UK for 5 years. Along with Fugazi, Sonic Youth, Nirvana and Big Black, Husker Du's influence can be heard on most of the alternative guitar bands in USA since the mid 1980's to the present day. Originally with legendary punk label SST, later with Warners they released a handful of classic albums before the two key songwriters , Grant Hart and Bob Mould sadly split acrimoniously. While Hart's solo projects and band 'Nova Mob' have been less highly profiled, his style and songwriting remained as strong as ever.
