This is a premiere of dance-drone post-futurists Factory Floor's new single. It's available as a 12" via the legendary DFA Records on 14th November 2011. It's a song called 'Two Different Ways'. It sounds something like mutant-robots dancing as Fred Dibner blows up a German design museum to make way for a laboratory. And it is awesome, immense and othe-such words to that effect, isn't it? »

This year is the 11th year of Summer Sundae and the festivities will be taking place on the weekend of August 12th-14th, at Leicester's De Montfort Hall and Gardens. DiS has curated a line-up at the festival for the past four years, putting on our favourites, ranging from Wild Beasts and Futureheads through Frightened Rabbit and Los Campesinos! to Gold Panda and Fuck Buttons. We even had Noah & the Whale come play for us the week they were bothering the upper echelons of the chart. »
You surely know the deal with ATP's In Between Days thing by now. You can sort of work it out from the title, but for those who don't I shall explain. The time in the middle of the first ATP (Bowlie 2) in December ending and the second one (Godspeed) starting there will be events of a musical variety, put on for anyone who wants to stay at Butlins, Minehead. »
The line-up and billing for this year's ATP Release The Bats Halloween show has been altered slightly, with new headliners coming into place. This is because, you might be aware, that Battles have lost a member and subsequently this put an end to much of their plans for touring and playing live and a few other things, too.»
London's Fistful Of Fandango festival have announced the first wave of new acts to play the event in September. It's a pretty good start, all in all.»
