Biography
Introduction
Darren Hayman is the Essex-born lead singer, songwriter and guitarist with UK indie rock band Hefner, big favourites of the late John Peel. Hayman released four studio albums with Hefner (plus a compilation and a live album) and one album with The French. Hayman can now be found performing solo, with his ever-changing backing group The Secondary Modern, or as part of an indie bluegrass supergroup, Hayman, Watkins, Trout and Lee. The debut Darren Hayman solo album, Table for One was released in early 2006.
He lives in London with his wife and his dog Beulah.
