We all know that the Scandinavian governments do a great deal to support their homegrown music, what with all those music export embassies and what not. It's how it should be, really. But it is not just organisations which support local music. If you think Norwegian music and "most famous" you'll probably come up with A-Ha at the very start. Casiokids are the latest in an ever-lengthening line of bands/groups/acts from the Western coast city of Bergen in Norway to emerge. You might remember that at last year's Great Escape, roughly a year ago now, we co-hosted a Norwegian Music Export event, involving them. We got them to create a mixtape for us, too to help celebrate Norwegian music AND some of their other non-Norwegian faves. »
