...Bender craft songs so beautifully bleak that the stoniest of hearts will crack under them. The press release for their debut album, simply entitled 'Bender', writes thus: "Imagine 'Tonight's The Night'-era Neil Young voicing the disquiet that tumbles at the heart of Sonic Youth's 'Bad Moon Rising'".
