First successful in the late '70s, Aerosmith temporarily disappeared off the radar, only to return to be bigger than ever in the mid '80s when a collaboration with Run DMC on 'Walk This Way' marked a turnaround in their flagging fortunes.

They've released more live albums and best of compilations alone than most bands have had hot dinners and their success has continued with a softer, more ballad-orientated direction, as Tyler and Perry continue to rock into their 50s.
