The startling soundtrack of the summer is COMING... seething discontent, careering at top speed through the urban wastelands, sneering at billboard spectacles of narcissism, spitting out the tasteless monotony of chewed-up conformist gum, refusing to walk on/sign on the dotted, straight and narrow line.
50Hz are responsible for this sound.
A band that has already built a steady following in the UK since their first release 'Armchair Army' on Oxford's celebrated Shifty Disco label, London-based 50Hz were also selected as one of Britain's best unsigned bands in last year's In the City showcase in Manchester and have been championed by Steve Lamacq on BBC Radio 1's Evening Session. Right now they seem to be causing high voltage WARNINGS to flash left, right and centre, even as far afield as Japan.
