is it almost the weekend?
I have sausages and beans for lunch
my head feels magnetically drawn to the floor, too.
Just watched Drive on the way to work, nothing like seeing someone get their head stamped in to wake you up in the morning.
How long is your commute??
also, this is my street this morning, as taken from my front door
where I can wash it at night, dry only the fringe and go to bed with the rest wet and wake up in the morning with good waves and lots of volume! Bung a bit of Moroccan Oil on it and I'm good to go.
It won't last long.
Near enough though, I can get in over an hour's worth of TV most days :(
i had to go back and read mine again because i didn't think i had. that's weird.
I studiously peel this off as it's yucky. Always have done. read an article recently which says you may as well not bother eating citrus for health benefits unless you eat the white scum as most of the bioflavanoid value is concentrated there. I'm done with citrus now.
separate it into two halfs and just go at it
I always seem to reavch that phase just as it's time for me to go for my 6 weekly cut. and then I'm back to square one. I might skip the cut this month and let it grow. It's going wild again at the minute, I wake up with a halo of ringlets that I have to smother in conditioner and flatten out.
How goo dis moroccan oil though- what brand do you use/ Best I've fond ids holland barret's 'argan oil'. It's massively expensive for what you get but you only need a tiny drop. I've run out of it just now. In fact, this is why my hair is so wild. ok, going to H&B at lunchtime.
that sits between the coloured peel and the flesh. Do you eat it? it's bitter! I'm going to make myself eat one in a minte, with the bitter stuff.
and swallow it in one
and this is how I do it...
If you wake up as soon as your alarm goes off for whatever reason (can't sleep, got to bed early) you can get the first 20mins in before getting up instead of snoozing.
Then when you get out of the shower you can lean your phone up against something and watch 1/2 hour while you're getting dressed and doing your hair and make-up.
Watch another 10 mins while walking to the bus stop and then 30mins on the bus. That's most of the film done by the time you get to work, it's great because you've got the last 1/2 hour or so to look forward to for the journey home. AND if you're prone to escapism like me, you can kind of stay in the vibe of the film all day at work and not let 'em grind you down! This is why I wouldn't watch something like Drive in the morning.
i have yet to go to sleep before 12am this week. :(
I tried doing it subtly yesterday and it didn't work so I might have to be blunter today.
This will not end well for me.
today i just rolled over and looked at my clock at 8:50. so tired lately
"This is your brain"
Then give her another potato and say
"This is your brain on drugs."
or lose track of what's going on while getting ready?
Also, don't you find you walk into things walking 10 minutes while watching a film?
this one http://www.eissinc.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/09/oilbottle.jpg
It's bloody brilliant, isn't it?!
And yeah, the good phase is always when your hair gets a bit longer, isn't it, and I think I may also have had it before when I've gone for a really blunt cut.
but there's so many films to be watched
Not least because I am sat with a bacon, egg and sausage sandwich, still warm.
you know how they say your hair falls out and then doesn't, it might be when it's going through the non shedding phase and it's a little bit thicker and also when it's a bit longer as mentioned above.
I love the smeel so much. Since then I've tried quite a few. The holland and barrett one totally honks, but it is amazing and you can use it on your skin too. I put it all over my body sometimes at night before bed, if I'm going to be changing my sheets the next day anyway. It makes you slithery like an eel, but you wake up all soft.
when I say work, i mean my own personal work. I'm not a rent boy, yet.
How much money...would it take?
Like when you're pregnant?
I'd need double, I want to try to be classy.
TODAY'S MY FRIDAY! got a birthday meal tonight and then off to dartmoor tomorrow.
just got shushed by my manager because she's skyping someone on her ipad in a busy office with no headset on. gtfo.
To be fair, all of my film watching is done on the train/platform. I'm mostly stumbling round the house bumping into things like Wall-E until I'm out the door:
But I've found a way, a bit like elaina says- it you get the parting right and sort out the fringe or front section, then I just twist mine and ten wind it round and round my hand then I pin it up. If I do this though I have to accept i'm stuck with waves. To get hair to dry well straight naturally is I think impossible unless you have miracle hair.
don't, I'm a sucker for 'signs' that aren't actually 'signs' ;-)
Are you one of those people who bangs the keys on their keyboard as though the letters have more significance the harder they're pressed?
double that if you want unprotected.
(I only know this because BBC radio 4 were doing a special on the rise of aids in the gay community, and this was brought up)
have worked every day since the second and although thats only seven days it feels like much longer
i answered a question someone asked me at a normal volume
to see my friends who have moved there
went ok, apparently Im perceived as being aloof..
and have some more of that sweet thing that scottish people eat
You should go to the friday night ceilidh at sloans. That was the place that has the good tablet. They emailed me right back and told me their tablet supplier btw, and i wrote to the supplier and they never came back to me!
Sloans. I love this place so so much- http://www.sloansglasgow.com/
Arranged boiler repair (don't even attempt a Your Mum joke thanks)
Amended home insurance so that I'm actually covered for the things i'd like to be covered for.
Ignoring tax return entirely.
Went to bed at 3am but fell straight asleep and didn't wake till 8.30, so a whopping 5.5 hours sleep which I think is a new record for 2014. Feel like absolute shit.
hopefully through in a couple of weeks.
after that: bye london
are you just going home and going to find something north once you get there?
(not saying this is a bad thing btw, it's what I did about this time last year.)
My neighbours came rouns and took away my tree for me. I really miss it and my flat looks way too empty now, so I need to find something to replace the tree and to sit in the corner of my sitting room. I might get an indian elephant statue that i've seen.
Also just snapped the head off a colleague and realised that I'm in a foul and dangerously angry mood today.
to become who I'm supposed to be
no, gonna get a job first. hopefully the two things will intertwine so that the gap between end of jan and moving oop is minimal.
You've been talking about getting out of london for about as long as I've known you. You know when it's time, and it's time.
flooding there is always mental.
Going to look at some flats tonight. Now appreciate why people always end up driven to posting threads about sheer flathunting hate on here- not even been looking long.
I mean, it's so unlikely that two people could have their boss out for two days that it simply can't be coincidence.
but there's still plenty of work for me to get on with. Probably going to the gym tonight too then finally watching the new episode of American Horror Story.
Leaving a bit early today to head to Telford, staying there tonight and tomorrow for a conference.
Not expecting much from Telford to be honest, anyone prove/suggest any differently as I'll have shit all to do tonight.
lock your door tight.
Got rang at 7am asking if I could get in for 8. Nope. See ya. 6 missed calls since I put the phone down... So much planned this weekend its making my head spin.
So I just want to say well done everyone for everything you say today.
I have a meeting about the Lady Gaga space video today. I should be really excited. I'm really not.
Apparently, Elthamsmateowen is a popular user.
and the bit in between is 'Telford Central'
abingdon road and botley road are both closed. the place is becoming cut off. i'm going to get stuck here.
had a rather good chat with a colleague on tuesday over a pub lunch who is in similar (but for different reasons) 'get me the hell out of this place'. Basically was an hour of just egging each other to do what we want rather than flounder around. catharsis. Be reet.
Hopefully have some money to do some travelling after too, mgiht come for a wee visit if that's alright.
You've just imagined Telford!
I want shit loads of that.
Will definitely do that on the friday when we come up. I don't know when it'll be as we have lots of weddings and stags/hen dos this year but defo want to come and see more of Glasgow.
Would be great to see you :)
What? Where do you get that from?
Less hungover? :D
ARE YOU COMING UP TO PLAY?
although mine has GetOffMyLawn at the top of the popular users list.
-going to check
