I've been doing it for nearly two decades. Not sure how I'll get through this.
lol what the fuck no
Though they changed that to Cif so now there's nothing pronounced that way
then it's proof my life's gone 100 percent Inland Empire
but I always thought it was pronounced like 'gif'-ted
surely pronouncing it with a hard g is more logical?
pls tell me that people don't pronounce this as 'siff'
ee leek a beet of jiff buh-klea
speaking of which, someone should start that up again.
I knew there was a reason you put that one in a tinyurl
Anyway I'm never going to say 'jiff' now.
she say it's a hard G which means pronouncing it like the cleaning product would simply be incorrect.
apparently, people get the hard and soft G's mixed up a lot, though. common mistakes are pronouncing words like 'geramiun', groundbreaking' and 'grandma' with hard G's when they should all have soft G's (like J's).
geramiun's the true latin term.
Did you see it? My mouth. It's all wrong.
*SLAMS FISTS ON TABLE*
NOT FUCKING SCONE
AS IN CONE
Not like 'jif'.
Anyone who says otherwise is the sort psychopath who doesn't pronounce the shortening of character to 'char' like 'car'.
the classic debate it'll ne'er be resolved not within my lifetime anyway the classic debate sconn or scone classic debate dassic clebate
anyone who pronounces it "jif" is a hard core bellend.
'jif?' nah, bollocks
