Why is Banking allowed to be on the news?
Yesterday Barclays got caught doing something naughty. They were fined. Today, on Radio 4, John Humphries apparently took great pleasure in grilling someone not-really-linked but kinda about it. And it was fuuuuuucking boooororororing. Why is this on the news? I mean, FUCK, it's boring as all hell. Tell me they were fined, I don't care about their Chairman's job, or if he's declined a bonus.
Is it because they are cheap shots now, that we all can rally behind them? Is it because we all feel undone by a banking system that failed? Or is it just because there was 10 minutes on the today programme that had to filled by some recent news?
I turned over to Radio 1 for a bit, it was that boring.
