Homeland Finale - havnt seen a thread about it yet - Was it the best finale? SPOILERS within
I don't think that it was the best finale ever (like some people were touting) It WAS very good and masterful considering it had to close this chapter and yet leave the possibility of the second season.
I (and I suspect other audiances) really liked the dad/daughter love 'saving him' as the way out, excellant.
Really really sad about Claire Daines having the EST at the end, poor woman, I know what she was going through with being the only person who can 'see it'...........bit annoyed at the drama of her 'remembering just before her going under and that it will be lost during the EST.
Loved his tape, great work although the ending of that was a little abrupt.....really impressed that they managed to get that out (although true patriots would actually think, say, that if the US, say did nixon and kissinger for war crimes, then that would be the best thing as it would show that the US REALLY WAS into proper justice and a champion of it, it would also help restore the idea of the US not having an absense of integrity......yes americans alone could act, try to improve its relationship with the rest of the world........which is why the next season now seems like it could be stunningly fascinating....i.e. HOW will he influence the US president? .......would it actually be a great idea IF he was instead, influencing a Hawkish president (as long as it was to tolerance, not to some over the top absoluteness that would precipitate the US into a nasty place.
Oh and a cunning ruse to get him into he building.
Major question is......who is the mole?????/
