Tuesday 'Ndlovu is in the air' Football Thread
Wolves axe McCarthy. No-one is totally surprised but equally no-one is very happy about it. I'll miss his honest interviews and silky drawl. Lots of people suggest Rafa to take his place. Fuck knows why...
Rangers go into administration, which sort of baffles everyone. Surely he knew what he was getting into, right?
'Arry begins reassembling the Euro 96 side by 'hoping' Scholes comes out of retirement to play for England. What's John Scales up to these days...?
The mighty Southend wearing a rather fetching shade of pink return to the top of League 2. With 3 games in hand, Crawley will probably pinch it back soon but any self-respecting football fan hopes not.
Apparently there's some Champion's League action tonight. The two London clubs who can't beat lower league Premiership sides now face Napoli and Milan. If either Manchester club were still in it we'd have been hearing about it for 6 weeks now but maybe it's one of those years where nobody expects the remaining English sides to do well and they walk to the semis?
The Tevez saga rolls on. He seems to be coming back, says it was all a misunderstanding and gives a lengthy account of what happened. But it does seem to still read like he refused to come on. Personally, I couldn't give a shit anymore. I see that Man City v QPR is the last game of the season. Chances of that game deciding who wins the title versus who stays up?
Anything else?
