A tale of two managers then as both Redknapp and Capello walk - the former from court after what has been exposed as a pretty shoddy and wasteful attempt at a prosecution by the CPS; and the latter from the England job after the whole Terry/captain/media thingy finally got too much.
Fair play to Capello, i'm surprised he lasted this long tbh; managing a bunch of idiots, supported by a bunch of idiots and written about by a bunch of idiots - not the most enjoyable job in the world i should imagine. I guess the few quid he made out of it may have helped but still. Some nice tweets from the players suggesting he was well respected from within the camp.
The whole world wets itself at the prospect of Harry taking over the role. Hopefully he'll tell the FA to do one. I can't imagine he'd jump at the chance just now given the stress he's been under with the sourt case - i suspect he'll be looking forward to a bit of 'normality', however, he's said in the past that the role would be difficult to ignore so i guess once the dust has settled on what he's been through he'll probably be more inclined to give it a go. If not maybe they'll give it to O'Neil, or Hiddink, or Gareth Southgate (lol).
Sunderland beat middlesburgh in ET in the FA cup replay. Celtic destroy Hearts at Tynecastle.
