is it unique to the catering industry that it's some indicator of brilliance if the person in charge (the head chef in this case) is a total bellsniff?
I can't fathom why anyone would want to work in an industry or scenario whereby you have one person being a total cock to you day in day out simply because they're more skilled than you
This thread stemmed from being forced to watch the first episode of masterchef which had some ginger cock screaming at people for 20mins, if my manager at work tried this it'd be an outrage yet it's accepted in kitchens/catering?
